Sepang - Manager of Valentino Rossi, Davide Brivio, dismissed the rumors saying The Doctor will retire from MotoGP, after the tragic incident that made her best friend, Marco Simoncelli, died at the Sepang Circuit on Sunday (23/10/2011).
Rossi and Tech 3 Yamaha rider Colin Edwards, Simoncelli crashed on the second lap MotoGP Malaysia. Simoncelli suffered head injuries, neck and chest during the accident and eventually died less than an hour later.
Simoncelli death of a friend of Rossi, making the rumors saying Rossi was so sad to no longer wish to continue his racing career in MotoGP, particularly because he was involved in the incident.
But former team manager Yamaha, Brivio, which followed Rossi move to Ducati this year to continue to work closely with the seven-time MotoGP world champion, wrote in his Twitter account today, Monday (10/24/2011), said that the news that Rossi says will stop racing completely untrue.
"Many asked about the possibility of Vale quit the race. This is obviously not true and sorry I have to explain it," Brivio wrote in his Twitter account.
Previously Rossi gave his personal tribute to Simoncelli in his Twitter account by saying, "Sic was like my brother. He tough on the track and very sweet in normal life. I would really miss him."
